Dear organizers and Officials, the Show Commission at their meeting last Thursday approved the increase of reimbursement per km (in case the Official travels by car) from 0,36 Eur/km to 0,50 Eur/km. The increase reflects the development of petrol prices within ECAHO countries. New height of the reimbursement is effective immediately.
The Executive Committee of ECAHO would like to inform its members that after the discussion at the AGM about the conflict in Eastern Europe, specifically in Ukraine, the Executive Committee changed its original announcement from 13 March 2022.
WHO (World Health Organization) published important information and guidelines for organization of mass gatherings (incl. international), specifically sport gatherings, which may be applicable also to Arabian halter shows and Arabian sport events.
ECAHO's Executive Committee (EC) has reviewed ECAHO's contracts with Officials, taking into consideration the various restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Amongst others, many Officials will not be able to attend at least one ECAHO workshop during their term, thus not fulfilling their contractual obligations.
Dear all, ECAHO is fully aware of the current difficult situation, caused by Covid-19 lockdown, which is affecting the Arabian horse show-, sport- and trade business and related activities worldwide. For event organizations it is very hard to plan ahead and it is completely understandable that many organizers are cancelling or trying to find reserve dates for their respective show- and sport events.
